Course Details

We offer several different courses. Our 4-hour program is a Florida DHSMV approved Basic Driver Improvement course. This BDI course is usually used for those drivers who elect traffic school after receiving a moving violation or traffic ticket. Our 6-hour Texas Defensive Driving Course is approved by the TDLR (Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation) for ticket dismissal. Our 6-hour New Jersey Defensive Driving course is approved by the New Jersey MVC (Motor Vehicle Commission) for a 2 point reduction from your New Jersey license. Some drivers complete our course for insurance purposes. Please check with your insurance agent to see if discounts are available for you.

While we have made our courses as easy as possible to complete, we understand that you may have some questions along the way. Below are some common questions and answers, but if you need further assistance please feel free to email our friendly customer service staff.

  • Where is my certificate?

    Simply log back into your account to check the status of your certificate. Depending on your chosen delivery method, there may be a download link on your dashboard to instantly access your certificate if it's been processed. Sometimes we see our emails with attachments end up in your spam folder, so be sure to check there as well.

  • Yes, absolutely! You can sign out and back in whenever you like. Our program will simply pick up where you last left off. You can also switch devices or platforms too, whether it's a computer, tablet or smartphone.

  • We urge students to double-check everything on their paperwork before it gets processed, but we understand that mistakes happen. You will need to log back into your account and order a duplicate certificate in order for us to issue a new certificate with any changes.

  • It depends on the specific course you're taking. The Florida BDI course is 4 hours long, while the Texas and New Jersey courses are 6 hours in length. You can take as long as you wish on the pages, but there are timers on the page required by the state that prevent you from going too quickly and avoiding the material.
